Travel to Baltimore

On Friday, March 5th Dee and I began our drive to Baltimore. We originally planned on leaving at 7:00a.m., but because I was dragging quite a bit that morning we ended up leaving at 8 instead. We decided to make our way to Baltimore via St. Louis so that Dee could stop at a school for a brief interview with the principal. We arrived in St. Louis/Ellisville at 3p.m. and were there until 6p.m. First Dee had the interview and then we were invited to dinner with the school's faculty. It was fun to get to chat with some teachers in the field and it was a nice break in our trip.

We then began the second leg of our trip, the 14 hour drive from St. Louis to Baltimore. From 6p.m. on Friday night to 8a.m. on Saturday morning, we were on the road. We went through Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and finally were in Maryland. What a long leg of the trip, and all at night! It wasn't too terrible though, and we made good decisions while on the road.

We were very exited to finally arrive in Baltimore and have time to shower and sleep in a bed! The drive here was quite an adventure and we have already decided that on the way back we will make it a 2 day trip instead of 1!
