Student teaching went well today. I wasn't at school until 3rd period because I was dealing with car problems (completely unrelated to the accident, this was about a gasket). I taught 7th grade LA today and had the students research the time period in which their Historical Fiction books take place in. Most of them were very interested in the information they were finding and were surprised by some things (i.e. info. about the KKK). Tomorrow they are continuing to do research, hopefully as good as today.

Day 13: My future
A couple of days ago I received an e-mail saying that Wednesday I would be getting a list of schools that my name will be sent to. The first thing I did when I got home from school was turn on my computer and log into my e-mail account. Lo and behold the list was there! This list before me consists of 10 schools all over the country. One in South (by the border) Texas, three in Missouri, one in Washington, one in Illinois, one in Nebraska, and three in Hawaii! Wow! While I am really excited to start figuring out life after college, it is a little daunting. Hopefully one of the schools will extended me a call and by late July I will be starting my career in another state. Please keep me in your prayers as I go through this process.
